Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity, just off NYC’s famous Lincoln Square, invites you to engage in the unique historic experience of hearing full Bach cantatas in the setting for which they were written. Each Sunday through the end of April, 2012, cantatas will be rendered on their appropriate liturgical Sundays following the practice of J.S. Bach himself in 18th Century Leipzig. These candlelit vespers services also feature organ works, choral motets, chamber music and exciting hymn singing with the renowned Bach Choir and Bach Players on period instruments under the direction of Cantor Rick Erickson.
